Dance Auction has been created to allow new and used dance related items to be sold. As long as the item you are selling is dance related or connected with dancing it can be listed. However, Dance Auction reserves the right to remove items which are considered inappropriate or not in the spirit of the site.

There is no charge to list your item(s) using the Basic Listing options. The only listing charges are if you want to add the following to your listing:

Buy-Out option - £0.25
Category Featured - £0.35
Home Page Featured - £0.50
Upload a Media File - £0.35
Reserve Price - £0.35

At the end of the auction, if your item sells, you will also be charged the following End of Auction fees based upon the final sales value:

£0.01 - £9.99 - a flat fee of £0.50 will be payable
£10.00 - £14.99 - a flat fee of £0.75 will be payable
£15.00 - £29.99 - a flat fee of £1.00 will be payable
£30.00 - £599.99 - you will be charged 4.50% of the final sales value
£600 - £9999.99 - you will be charged 3.50% of the final sales value

If your item doesn't sell no End of Auction fees will apply and you will be allowed to relist your item without paying any of the enhanced listing fees if they were used during the original listing; End of Auction fees will still apply if the relisted item sells.

If there is a particular dance related item that you are looking for that you can't find amongst the items for sale, you can place a Wanted Ad for a flat fee of £0.50p. The normal restrictions on what can be listed and sold on Dance Auction still apply and Dance Auction reserves the right to remove Wanted Ad items that are considered inappropriate.

Dance Auction only accepts payment of auction fees by PayPal. This is a secure method of payment and ensures that Dance Auction does not store your credit card or bank details. Dance Auction would recommend that you also use PayPal when paying a Seller for an item rather than sending cash, cheque or postal order.

When you sign-up to Dance Auction you are given a default account debit limit of £10. Once you reach this limit you will not be allowed to list further items until your account is cleared. Auction fees should be paid within 7 days of an invoice being issued. Dance Auction regularly reviews user debit limits and these will be increased or decreased according to payment history.

Anyone with a PayPal account can list and sell items on Dance Auction. Dance Auction would advise members to be extra vigilant if you are requested to ship an item outside the UK.

To become a Verified Dance Auction member costs £1.50. During the verification process Dance Auction will check your details against the electoral roll and will contact you on the telephone number given when you first registered. Once Dance Auction is satisfied that the details given are valid your Dance Auction status will be changed to ’Verified’. Please use the Contact Us page if you would like to become a Verified member.
